Designed as a preparation for the DELF Scolaire 1, this color-coded collection was created for beginning high school or young adult language school students, with attention to building day-to-day communication skills.
Units are based on a method of progressive communication, by which students discover, practice, pronounce, and finally communicate, in both writing and orally, each new conceptual lesson. Belleville caters to the modern, dynamic, cosmopolitan teenager with stories that follow independent young adults through the daily, excitement of the Belleville quarter of Paris.
Both levels are divided into 3 sections, each of which includes a civilization unit, a synthesis unit, an evaluation unit, and a unit dedicated to preparing for the DELF/A1 du Cadre Européen de Réference.
